US secret war in Somalia

    The illegal immoral drone war in Waziristan in Pakistan is known about by some.. but not many know anything about the drone war in Somalia. It's fair to say it has been kept secret in that there seems to a media blackout on the issue OR there's just nobody interested enough to report it... you decide.

    Al Shabaab is now officially part of Al Aqaeda as of 2012... but these strikes have been going on for years in Somalia with civilian deaths mounting up.

    My personal opinion is that the US has absolutely no right, legally or otherwise, to carry out these attacks and that they have been hiding the issue (which is the conspiracy part) and that the media should be reporting on this issue. It's hard to consider that they wouldn't have unless this secret war also has a media dimension to it i.e. that there is a Washington enforced media blackout on this subject.
