Suicide and college fees

    Hey guys, my brother commited suicide. We don't have the money to pay out 8 grand for his course, is there any way we can get any help from government or college?

    I'm sorry for your loss.

    Try contacting your brother's tutor (if you don't know who that was, get in touch with the senior tutor senior.tutor@tcd.ie) or the fees office http://www.tcd.ie/Treasurers_Office/gen_contacts.php#feescontact, I'm sure they'll be helpful.

    I'm very sorry to hear of your brother's death.

    As the above poster said, you can contact his tutor or the Senior Tutor. I also suggest you contact one of the Students' Union officers - either Welfare (Louisa Miller - 0851136515) or Education (Rachel Barry - 0857723676), as they'll be able to advise you on the College policies and help you out.
