    Hi Guys,

I bled a radiator Monday night. For approx. 2 minutes air was coming out. Then on tueday night when i went to turn on the heating the flame will not come on. The pump starts to pump though and gets quite hot as do the bit of pipes running into the pump. But as I trace my hand along those pipes the pipe are not actually hot.

The pump does not turn off unless I use an electrical switch (which is always on). I believe the pump stops pumping water once the pump detects there is not more hot water to pump. But now the pump just continues to pump There is a huge throbbing vibration(like a thrombone) off the pump.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks
    Alan

If it's a sealed system it needs to be pressurised.

If it's a sealed system the fill device is a flexihose which may be near the boiler or in the hotpress, if may need to be connected as it should have been disconnected when it was pressurised. when you locate it turn on the little valve until the pressure gauge shows 1.5 bar. You might have bleed/pressurise a few times to get the air out of the system
