My mate has been a best man before, and a groomsman on a couple of occasions, so he’ll already have a few hipflasks, and cufflinks.

What are some of the more individual, non-boring things that could be good presents?

Bordeaux jersey.. with Best Man on the back..

In the same predicament.. would prefer something a bit different to the usual suspects

I was going to go with highly personalised cufflinks rather than the usual monogrammed ones: my other half got me one's that have miniature vintage cameras instead of buttons since I'm into photography was going to get the grooms-men cufflinks along the same lines: surfboards for best man, drumsticks etc.

Is the Best Man a whiskey drinker? Hard to go wrong with a good single malt scotch if so (or any of the Cooley Distillery range: http://www.cooleywhiskey.com/flash/index.html)

Other classics would be a fob/pocket watch, swiss army knife etc.

i am in the same situation with my male bridesmaid.

he would have no interest in cufflink and i really dont want to buy him a bottle of JD, as he is staying my house the night of the wedding  (must remember to hid all the good whisky)

I bought stuff they would like, completely unrelated to the wedding. Best man got a model car (to add to his collection), groomsman got a guinness pool cue (suited him) and the other groomsman got an autographed picture of Rory McIroy (he's mad about golf).
I think the gift should be a present for their help and really cufflinks and hip flask etc will be thrown into a drawer straight after the wedding.
