    Playing O'meara in Carton on Friday, just wondering what to expect.
    General advice etc.

    Anyone play recently what condition is it in etc?

    Its a couple of years since i played it so obviously i cant comment on its current condition but its a very enjoyable course to play.
    The greens there were probably the best greens i ever played, never seen a ball roll as nicely as it did there. Its not a terribly difficult course and some of the holes are a bit bland but 14,15 and 16 are three of the nicest holes in the country. Enjoy!

    I love the course, its not overly difficult but is a lot of fun to play, some good scores to be had.

    5 is a great par 4, as tight left as you dare will leave an easier approach to a well protected elevated green.

    14, 15, 16 are great holes, all along the river.

    There some flybys of each hole that are on their website, they will give you an idea of what to expect
