    I'm looking for a new car or a 4x4.

Today I went and test drove a '12 Kia Sportage EX 1.7 6S diseal.
Well it was lovely to drive and very impressed with it. I'm very tempted.

What do you think of it? Can you go wrong with a seven year warranty.
Although they don't offer the 5.9% APR probably looking at somewhere around
    10.5% APR off my bank.

The car in question was valued at €29,465 straight deal at €27,465.

In my opinion, the best looking of the 'crossover/softroader' segment.

Warranty is good but service costs may become tiresome as the years pass

Would be my pick of the soft roaders too. The forthcoming kia optima looks great as well.

Read some owner reviews on autotrader and their giving it a very good report.

Just a pity the interest rate is high.

KIA make some cracking cars of late- providing you're not a name badge snob.
The missus bought a brand new sportage Titan when living in the uk. Car is an 07 plate. Brought it over when we moved here a few years back.

NOTHING has gone wrong with the car in 5 years. Solid motors. The new sportage is a beaut. Very stylish in my opinion. The warranty is one of the best on the Market if not the best and the customer service is second to none.

Go for it, if our experience is anything to go by, you won't be disappointed.

The 2WD and AWD both have serious steering issues. They both pull to the left (look out for that during the test drive) and as the new steering system is electronic (EPS) rather then traditional power steering you will find it hard to keep it driving in a straight line on the motorway. Google "Sportage Steering Issue" and see the large number of complaints listed. Dealers in Ireland know about the issue and when you mention it to them they will tell you its as a result of the road or that all of the do that when delivered but it is fixed as part of the commissioning process..... :-) BE WARNED!
