Trolling!

So i must admit,the odd time i might be prone to a bit of trolling on mw3,especially on infected,nothing to serious tho,just blocking ladders and the likes,and it usually involves mouthy little kids:D Now i know its not fair and all that,but sometimes them pesky kids get a bit too loud and obnoxious!!

Nah, don't do it myself but got trapped before in a corner by a troll in search & thought it was hilarious.
I can understand why people do it and it can be funny but trolls are easily defeated by simply moving to a new lobby

Used to do it a lot back in the day *waving cane* as mentioned before in CoD4 HSnD.

Do it occasionally now, namely on my own. If someone on my team is playing like a little, selfish conte (half reviving people, riot shield trapping, following and shooting non-silenced weapons around a silenced, assassin user everywhere he goes.. tis fun

Apart from the times he was running into the javelins and intercepting launchers at point blank it's just been done to death. Those instances take far more "skill" than walking away from bomb sites or shooting behind someone using a silencer which there are 100's of videos of.

For me personally most of those trolling videos only serve to proliferate the number of c**ts ruining games and gamemodes. Some genres such as racing sims are quick to punish those players that deliberately try to annoy players, eg. drive the wrong way, but CoD seems far more reluctant to cut back on the number of scrotes doing scrotey things. It's become something that's lauded, not hated.

We were told there was to be a specific gamemode for snipers only included on release (hopefully to confine sniper scrotes) but are still waiting and from leaked info regarding future elite game types it doesn't look likely. So SnD amongst other gamemodes are ruined, the scrotes have won.

Yep, SnD and other game modes, are ruined by all the snipers, clearly. :P

I troll quite a bit in MW3 tbh, especially on PS3 since my aim is getting progressively worse on the dualshock as i play it less and less. So i just stick on my troll class, striker + RPG's + C4 = run around blasting my rockets in the other teams face.

Meh. My W/L is still higher compared to most considering I've played MW3 mostly on my own or with a couple of other people at most, and add to that the trolling.

Learned a long time ago the community is full of cretins who will play for spawn traps, big killstreaks, Youtube scores, MOAB's/nukes, K/D ratios, dashboard to save win streaks or too scared to move so corner camp, etc only. So **** them I'll ruin their fun if need be.. and still win the match at the same time.

Shoulda gone to Specsavers.

I don't troll in Mw3 much anymore, I did a lot in Blops with my gun game stabbing and the odd let's-hide-the-whole-game-with-ghost if you call that trolling. I'm toying with the idea of making a video corner trapping in HSnD and let them suicide..

I highly doubt you have, or you will even bother to do so *going on your comments already*. But I'd recommend giving Gun Game knifing a go and try not finding the reactions hilarious. Yourself being on the Xbox, you're fortunate that the strong majority of Xbox users use their headsets. Videos would be easy to come by.

I really enjoyed watching Lee's gun game knifing sprees, "he's a c*nt Warren!" but that's still playing the gamemode to a tiny extent. A part of me wants them more of them, but I suppose it's good that you've left us wanting more rather than rehash the same thing again and again. Which is what people are doing now, mimicking Kevin on MW2 in his how to annoy people series. He's at least novel in that he acted naive and didn't always resort to team killing.

All they're doing is acting the c**t by team killing/running off with the bomb or whatever/ultimately ruining a gamemode for others, posting a video and calling it trolling. Which in turn will inspire more knobheads to do the same and it gets progressively worse. I know some have complained about spawn trappers ruining demolition as a properly contested game mode, the same thing is happening in those game modes where c**ts are ruining them.

Playing the game as you put it, is to win or place. How do you win orplace? By going through all 20 weapons on offer in the game (it's called Gun Game for a reason after all!), as quickly as possible. Anybody who goes in knifing knows full well winning goes out the window and unless you get the easiest lobby ever, placing is out the window too. It's all about being a pest and getting reactions. I did this. Lee did this. Onlyusemeblade does this. As do many others here, there and everywhere.

If I'm considered a conte for doing this, fine. I don't mind. I'm a #winning conte though

I don't know if the latter is aimed at me or not especially given comments elsewhere from others, but I'll answer it briefly nonetheless. As for people complaining about Demo including myself. My problem with it is people's intentions - handing the enemy usually a round so to extend the slaughter-fest for their K/D padding needs, Youtube type scores and the like, and thinking they are so awesome at doing that to a bunch of public randomers. We've seen examples of it here, and it validates a lot of stereotypes within CoD that is aimed from those who hate the franchise. Spawn trapping when defending happens naturally a lot of the time especially when playing in a party of somewhat capable players. There is no issue there, that's how it rolls.

can be hilarious if you do it to noobs or people playing like ****, oma tubers on mw2 are my favourite target, map dependant if they're in a corner, riot shield class and block them in there to torrents of abuse, its even funnier if they're close to a nuke and you just unload whatever secondary weapon you have to attract attention so you get them killed :pac: prone campers too, just go prone right in front of them so all they can see is your arse and crawl back and forth in their pov.

I play like a try hard alot but I will loose a game and go negative if it means I get an angry message or abuse thrown down the microphone for whatever reason. It sustains me

I'll just add that I did place in some gun games (even won on two occassions) because people raged from the game.
