Do auld ones notice?

I read the thread title and went 'yeah, why is that?'

I think it really is a case of just no longer caring. Saw a woman a month or so ago in the supermarket that had actual sideburns!

I think they just don't care anymore. Kind of like the way sometimes old people smell. Some of them obviously don't wash daily or their clothes so there is that musty smell that you don't really smell on younger people.

I think it is kind of sad to be honest, to just not care anymore about your appearance. I suppose older people didn't grow up with all the fancy products and what-not... although I imagine most do have or know about tweezers.

I have two bald patches on either side of my mouth, just can't grow facial hair there so when I ended up talking to a women with more facial hair there all I could think of is how the hell did you do that.

I'm a gentlemen so rested asking and brought up Mach3.

Er, that is now what I meant, I meant it is sad to actually not want to bother looking good for yourself.

It isn't just about what other people think. Taking pride in your appearance makes people feel good about themselves, at least it does for me.

Someone I know had a brother called Paddy married to a woman called Ann. She called her brothers wife "Paddy's Ann". Now Ann had more than a few whiskers, she even had full grown sideburns :eek: I nicknamed her "Paddy's man" instead
