One of my rear indicators has stopped working. It's an LED one so I don't think it's the bulb, possibly the relay or a loose connection, front one on the same side is flashing too fast. I'm no use at electronics, anyone handy with electrics fancy taking a look at it rather than having to bring it to a shop. Based south-side and can travel.

    Hi,
I can't fix it but I know a guy that can. He's based near Crumlin Garda station/Sundrive. PM me if you want his number.

Sounds like a relay problem there. Looks like you might be sorted.

Won't be the relay if the front is still flashing, sounds like either wiring or bulb.

Would a dodgy relay not make the working light flash quicker? My bad so. Cheers.

No there is a lamp failure detection circuit controlling the relay, as a way of showing a failed bulb, due to a reduced current through the detector. This intentionally more or less doubles the relay operating cycle frequency.

So as said, its likely a connection problem somewhere on the wiring to the lamp, or the lamp itself.
