Odd numbers calling my landline number

    Apologies if this is in the wrong place, but I've been getting calls from odd numbers to my landline lately (for example 00109 and 00112).

    The phone usually stops ringing before I can pick up.

    Have tried ringing back several times but nothing happens.

    My guess is it's probably an automated system that phones people randomly.

    Anyone else getting these calls?

    Know how to stop them?

    There's a rash of calls from seemingly random numbers that usually end up being somebody "from Windows" trying to get you to install something on your computer.

    Yeah I used get those calls before alright.

    It could be the same crowd again.

    I haven't had a chance to find out, as the phone stops ringing before I can pick up.

    Any idea how to stop them calling by any chance?
