Just wondering if anyone has trialled any of the R11 TP shaft options - have just bought the Xcon 5 and RIP Gamma shafts to try and was wondering if anyone was playing these, any of the other options or had demoed any of the option shafts?

Ive got the Aldila RIP Alpha 60 X, very stout and suits my swing. The gamma wil be higher launching, you get the 70 S or which?

    Gamma 60 S

Nice one, if uve got a bit of a low ball flight then that will prob be a flyer for you

Aldila website says this is a low-mid launch shaft which is what I'm after.

Blimey you guys are in a different golfing world to me, all these zeta triple X shafts with optional cup holders!
Seriously though I guess one of these days I will get sorted with a different shaft as I presume it can make a difference to your game, assuming more so with the driver than irons. I genuinely have no idea what shaft is on my driver apart from it being stiff

Shaft fitting is hugely important on the driver and fairway woods. Had an Aldila Rip alpha 60 R in my old driver and it was freakishly long off the tee. Very low flight, but a huge amount of roll. Swapped it for a Proforce V2 66g S and still not quite high enough flight for me. I've a burner 2.0 5 wood which I carry the same distance as my driver. Need to change the driver shaft to a higher flight
