Polyester dress

    Have seen a lovely formal dress but its 100% polyester - can any one advise me if this is a good material. Will be wearing the dress for most of a day/night and want to be comfortable and not sweaty.

    I wouldnt. Better to stick with quality fabrics. a blend of synthetic fabrics is ok as well.

    Shell: 75% acetate, 25% polyester, excluding decorative trim
    Lining 100% polyester

    Not to put too fine a point on it but synthetic fibres along with light beer are the invention of the anti-christ.


    If the lining is 100% polyester then thats what will be next your skin, causing you to perspire. Synthetics hold body odour as well.
