I like to use through and lob passes quite a bit and when they come off in manual they really are so much better and defender does not get in way like they would on assisted.

I still use assisted for everything online except through balls and lob passes line at moment as it will take some time for me to get used to passing, but in particular the crossing manually. Aim would be in few months to play all controls on manual.
