Writing in Translations? (French/Irish)

Would I be allowed to write in English translations on the Irish and French papers as I read through the papers, or would I run the risk of getting in to trouble? For example, could I jot down a few translations for the reading comprehension above the words in the French paper? Hopefully that will make sense to you!

Anything you write on your paper once the exam has begun is your own business.

If your worry is that someone could say you were cheating, then don't worry. You have not brought your translations in on a new piece of paper, but in your head, so it's fine. It's a good idea too, to settle yourself down.
