Buying Applecare through Education Store

    Hi all,

Just wondering something... My brother is in UCD and gets the Apple Education discount. If I got him to purchase Applecare for the 13" Macbook Pro, can I use it on my Macbook? For him to get it is €150 compared to €250 for myself.

I mean, the box comes with a Serial Number to register for Applecare, so would they know that I used it instead of my brother so it becomes null and void?

    Cheers for any help!

Yes, you'll be able to use it. Who bought it doesn't matter.
