Android Market error 492

    Anyone know how to fix error 492 on Android market?

    Basically anytime i go to download something from the market, i get a message saying that it cannot be downloaded due to error 492.

    I have a HTC Wildfire S, and recently the phone wanted me to install a software update and since then i've been having problems.

    I'm not rooted so i guess i'll try the Factory reset and see if it works.

    Also, i noticed that lately that the screen has become slow and unresponsive at times, and will go crazy and start start pressing random things on the screen like pressing the search button or going into calls and dialling numbers.

    Thought i'd point this out too: when i switched from Vodafone to Three, i couldnt get any 3g signal on the phone so i had to create a Goldcard (using this method: http://androidforums.com/desire-s-all-things-root/500543-guide-how-create-goldcard.html) to get it to work. This was like back in september so doubt it would be the cause.

    So should i still go with the factory reset??

    i have ainol tablet 7 aurora having android 4.xxx. now when i try to download some games it gives 492 error. for example when i m trying to download virtual city it gives 492 error.
    plz any one can help.....

    I tried a number of things including clearing data in the Google services framework and switching between accounts but in the end I had to delete and recreate my main Google account (had 2 accounts so didn't have a major issue in doing that) from accounts and sync.
