Magic eye

I have set-up a magic eye on my bedroom tv however it is not working on the remote control that came with it. It is also not working with my existing remote control that controls the sky hd box in the living room. I am receiving the picture on the bedroom tv from the sky hd box. I have the RF power supply turned on in the sky box.

Another question, I have a FM aerial plugged into my sky distribution amp in the attic. Is it possible to combine the RF 2 cable: (a)RF2 signal and (b) FM signal? I have 2 co-ax cables coming from the attic, the second cable is my terrestrial signal coming from the aerial in the attic going into the sky box in the living room.

What make & model is the amp in the attic?

    Wolsey Sky amp

It states that it is "return path".

    It is powered.

And you're sure the magic eye is actually receiving power?

how do I know for certain that it is receiving power

    Power-on LED?

Problems with the power supply can be caused by dodgy connections & wallplates.

The remote signal can be interfered with by the tv itself.

See here (nos. 53 & 55), also video here.

The led light comes on in the eye when I press the buttons on the sky remote but nothing activates
