Apologies if this is the wrong forum...

I have recently bought my .ie domain, but I now wish to create a personalised email account for that .ie domain.

Basically, I want to have a 'hammered@mydomainname.ie' email address. Is it possible for me to set this up myself?

Any information or advice will be greatly appreciated :D

www.google.com/a

Google apps should work for you. I use the free version for my .eu domain.

The free version gives 50 accounts comprising email, calendar, docs etc.

I've not had any issues with it over the last few years.

You need to set it up within the hosting panel that came with the domain. When you registered it you should have been emailed details about accessing the control panel.

If you buy hosting for your domain so that you can run a website you'd normally get free email with that ..

You have two options:
To buy hosting with a domain and mailboxes (most web hosts will provide with),
Or Buy a domain on its own and configure it with Google apps.
Just to remind folks not to ask for reccomendations regarding webhosting, and to check out the hosting sticky here :)

Cheers,

Nick

You get 10 accounts now on free version. Used to be 50 but was it was changed last year AFAIR.

Google Apps is still a great solution for mail though.
