...If my central lock button inside the car is locking only two doors(2 have faulty microswitches)

I am using remote control to central lock the car.

I dont want to change 2 microswitches If I dont have to.

i think its the UNLOCK bit that is important...do the doors ALL unlock?

They don't generally lock / unlock though do they? Unless you handed them the keys and the car is already locked. I have a rear door with a broken thing-a-ma-bob and I just make sure to leave it open. Never been questioned thus far *touches wood*.

they dont check the locking on the cars so i doubt it very much it will affect your test result

All doors unlock completely with unlock button inside the car, and with my remote control.
And all doors lock properly with remote control which I am using all the time.

the locking mechanism has nothing to do with the driving mechanics or safety of the car so they wont even check it, iv put worse through that passed the test, leave your car unlocked when you bring it in and give them the keys and sure when he gets in it he will just drive it in and test it and hopefully pass your car unless there is something else wrong
