    Hi guys,
I have decided to bite the bullet and do a couple of modules with the OU. Just wondering has anyone done dse141 discovering psychology? I'm hoping to start this one in May. For anyone who has done it, how was it? Would the hours on the website be accurate for study? This is my first exp with the OU so not too sure what to expect. This particular module is level 1 and 30 credits. Thanks.

There seems to be a few videos on youtube about OU psychology courses. Also there is some great videos free from likes of Yale giving whole series of lectures. You could almost watch an entire degree of lectures online for free and study all extra material that is largely free/cheap online if expense is an issue. Of course if you want an actual bit of paper saying you have passed exams you may need to register and pay a lot of money to some university.

Hiya, I completed an honours degree in psychology last year with the open university, I found them brilliant to study with, I did a module called exploring psychology as part of it, not sure if this is same as the one ur talking about, study hours are very manageable, I did the whole degree while working full time and you have access to a tutor in case you need help! Best of luck!

Thanks. The one I'm doing is discovering pyschology. It's level 1. Not sure if you did that one. Glad to hear it is manageable.
