The Monzas are well known for being VERY soft and prone to buckling very easily.

Cheers, is there any brands you would lean towards? I'm just looking for something similar to what I posted above.

I'd stick with the ProRace series, they're probably the lightest wheel/euro available.

I've heard good things about http://www.performancealloys.com although never used them myself.

Id stay away from wolfrace I find them to look abit skangerish, maybe its just my own opinion but thats my advice.

Is the polo the current model?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,084 ✭✭✭n1ck

    Cheers for the replies.

Yea the polo is the new shape model in black.

To be honest, I think it will look awful with black or anthracite wheels

Polo GTI (denver) wheels or similar unless you want to look like a knack

Each to their own I guess, i've seen it with black multi spoke wheels, now I know this one has a kit on it but it still looks good I think.

Think glossy would be better than matt if you're going black on a black car.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,157 ✭✭✭Compton

Cheers for the replies guys, i've seen a few I like but I still can't decide, i'm more leaning towards gunmetal now such as the OZ Superleggra.

In gunmetal, but the black in them is nice too.

I'm thinking black may be a bit too much but i'm still open to having black wheels. :P

I don't think they'd go well on the Polo, something chunky would be better I think.
