Hi, im thinkin about setting up a band covering artists like, Marvin Gaye, Clapton, Stevie Wonder, Spencer Davis, Ray Charles, James Brown you get the idea. Im a keyboard player with vox so Im looking for bass, drums, guitarist, all with vox too, lead and harmony. I dont think this will suit teenagers or people in their 20s as Ive been playing in bands for over 20 years, but Ill leave that up to ye. I dont want to run this band as much as have everyone with their own input re songs, venues, presentation etc. Please, no meglomaniacs or control freaks need apply, I want this to be reasonably easy going, however I do want to make some money at the same time. Im based near Newbridge, Co. Kildare.

Just giving this a bump. Slow uptake on this idea but then I suppose it might not be to everyones taste. If there was a guitarist out there with fairly decent vocals, someone with a reasonably good upper end range either in tenor voice or strong falsetto, we could possibly start something off here as there has been interest from bassists and drummers. We dont need a Richie Samboura or a Joe Satriani here, just a reasonably competent guitar player with good lead vocals.
