    Hi
I have a '01 laguna 2 that has started to make a banging noise on the back left side. I presume this is a suspension problem. it gets worse when the I go round a left bend or over a hump. I've 'bounced' the rear but it settles quickly.
    any ideas???

I suggest you check anti roll bar bushes and droplinks at the rear, usually will knock when the car pitches to one side on the road, or "rolls" . Really bad ones will knock if you rock the car back and forth from the side. Cheap enough fix.

The rear axle bushes wear out a lot on those Lagunas. Sounds like this may be your problem. If that turns out to be the problem and you are having them replaced then if you are planning on keeping the car for any length of time only fit genuine Renault bushes. The spurious ones don't last in them at all.
