Trochanteric Hip Bursitis - Advice

Had this for about the last six weeks now. Had a shot of cortisone initially as it remedied the situation quickly when I last had this about 3 years ago and have had about 5 physio sessions on it. It has improved however I still find I'm in considerable pain even just walking around on a daily basis and although the physio is helping I'm not working and it's costly enough. I am doing side leg raises and trying to build up the balance in both legs as apparently I'm lacking.

Just wondering if there is something else I should try or should be doing if anyone has previous experience with similar or advice?
