    Hi
I've an interview in rathmines next week and wondering the best way to get there. My bus drops me to parnell street. What the best option from there? Thanks!

The 140 (Finglas via the N 2 and Parnell Square) and 83 (Finglas via the quays) cross the city and travel via Rathmines as does the 15 (Amien St, North Strand Malahide Road and Clongriffen); maybe one of these go near you and would eliminate a change of bus in town. The 15A/15B depart from Grand Canal Square and travel via Rathmines as well while the less regular 65/65 B are another option.

    Go to D'Olier Street and catch a 14 or 15 I'd say.

Depending on traffic, of course, probably about 20 minutes Parnell Sq to Rathmines once you're on the bus.

There seems to be no shortage of 140's going down OCS so that'd be your best bet I'd say.

Not longer after I left school, I had to go to the army barracks in Rathmines. Not knowing any other way, I walked across town to the top of Grafton Street, then across Stephen's Green, and got to the Grand Canal at Baggot St Bridge. Then I took a right and walked all the way along the canal until I came to Portobello Bridge, from where I took a left to get to Rathmines.

I was born and raised on the Northside.

The 14's and 15's go from the quay just to the left of O'Connell Street on the river side as you're walking.

Some of the information above on the bus stops is incorrect. Many of the routes have changed.

15 - stops at Connolly Station, Hawkins Street, College Street and Nassau Street.

15A/15B - stops at College Street and Nassau Street

65/65B - stops at Hawkins Street, College Green and George's Street.

83 - stops at Batchelors Walk, D'Olier Street, College Green and George's Street.

140 - stops at Parnell Square, O'Connell Street Upper, D'Olier Street and Nassau Street.
