I am on a certain Irish website and noticed two items priced at €0.00. One costs around 8 euro and the other costs around 50 euro I put the 8 euro one in my basket and ordered it and got the receipt email and paid for delivery to see what would happen and its only 8 euro for an item I currently need if I did have to pay.

What is the story with this? I doubt I am entitled to this item am I? especially if the company notice the mistake?

I was half tempted to purchase the 50 euro item to see what would happen as it would only cost me 3 euro for delivery anyhow?

    Thanks,

Before a load of people get on about this - you have no right to the item.

It is very obviously a mistake and technically if the site wanted to be overly fussy they can suggest you are trying to obtain the item by deception and have you charged with a criminal offence. (this won't happen, but if a person tried to force them to give the item free, they could go down this route as an opposite to your route)

Was going to say that, they could recoup their loss at any time in the future, whether it was their mistake or not.
