Thinners or Tardis from Autosmart if you can get your hands on it..

WD40 and some gentle elbow grease has worked for me in the past on a small area; probably depends on the adhesive.
If you've since used the van washing off any grit that's accumulated.

Thinners or autoglym tar and adhesive remover. Give it a good wash and polish when finished and you'll never know they were there.

Has to be auto paint thinners (cellulose thinners) , White spirit won't do....

I'd never recommend putting thinners on your paint, if you're any way vigorous, you can actually remove paint with it.

Just get some Autoglymn Tar and Adhesive remover. You can also get something called a 'Wonder Wheel' for the top of your drill which will remove both the stickers and the adhesive, I've used it a few times in the past but you need to be careful with the RPM of the drill and how heavy you hold it against the vinyl.

Hairdryer to warm it up then take it off!

    Hairdyer won't work on residue.
