Shimano adapter for carnac shoes

    Bought a set of shimano spd-sl pedals and cleats with my new bike, and the 3 bolt cleats won't fit on to my carnac trs5c shoes. I'm told I need an adapter of some sort, but am finding it difficult to locate said adapter anywhere online.

    Has anyone got any idea as to what adapter I need and where I can get it before I return the pedals?

    I could be wrong but I don't think you can use them with spd's. They only have the the look/spd-sl holes in the sole.

    They have a USC3 sole, so I need some sort of USC adapter to suit the 3 bolt spd-sl cleats, but I'm having no look finding such adapters.

    From what I can make out, they can't be fitted to my shoes, can only get adapters for the older 2 bolt spd :(

    If anyone wants a brand new set of shimano spd-sl pedals for €40 let me know before I return them to the shop tomorrow afternoon.
