Power \ Scart Issue for lots of retro Consoles

Hey lads, nice my new TV arrived, I have put lots of effort into clearing up my "bhoys" room ;)

I am looking for a solution for power plugs issue or scart connections issue.

    Problem A:

Currently, I have a 4 way scart from Maplin, which does the job excellent, however, I could do with a 8 way, or 10 way. Is it possible to get one of these? (RBG compatable, of course)

    Problem B:

I have a 10 way power block (vertical one) which is a right pain the arse, pluggin in and out different consoles, I would love a horizontal one, with independent power on\off switches.

I know I am talking to the right people here and I would love to know how ye work around the above issues. :pac:

For power I use a couple of these as well as various other normal power extension leads:

For scart (with RGB) i use a couple of these:

Maybe the power block wont be what your after but it is a very good quality one with a decent surge protector on it.

When I was putting together my games room I considered both these issues, here's what I did.
For the power it was simple, I just put in more sockets, seems like the most obvious thing to do, if you have a mate who is a sparks get a quote.
The scart/AV problem I solved in a unique way, I like to think.
I got metres of good quality cable, and cut it into three equal lengths.
I then decided how many AV inputs I might need.
I bought some phono sockets in maplins accordingly.
I then, using small blocks of wood behind, fixed the three lengths of wire so they ran around the room, behind and beneath my consoles, the number of blocks corresponds to half the required phono inputs.
Then I soldered each length of wire into a pair of phono sockets, meaning I had a junction made at each block of two sets of three AV inputs.
As a result everything with a AV out is wired into this and i don't have to plug cables in and out anymore just turn them on!
    Works a treat!
The end of the array is plugged into the AV socket on your TV.

Avoid the multi scarts in Argos. One of them worked fine for an hour and then all of a sudden the picture had a weird purple tint, on every scart socket! Gonna pick me up one of the ones Steve posted

Thanks lads, I like the Sega power block :D

@ Steve SI -I have two of these already (10 way) but have to stretch over a glass stand every time I have to swap power leads, getting too old for that ****e :D

Most scarts I have seen are only 4/5 way. Pity

@ CathalDublin that is im looking for, that in a 10 way would be perfect
