Hi, travelling to the magic in March. We have always used a bus transfer service to get from CDG to Disney but this year we were thinking of getting the TGV as its both cheaper and faster.

However I am concerned about the timeline for us to get the TGV. We are scheduled to land Aer lingus Terminal 1 at 1.50pm and the next TGV departs from Train station Terminal 2 at 2.48pm. Do you think we could be cutting it tight to get the TVG bearing in mind we will be waiting on lugage and travelling with 2 kids? The next train is 4.20pm and we would be at Disney using bus at that stage.

    Any thoughts appreciated.

I'd be really suprised if you could collect your luggage, wade through CDG, and then get train tickets all within an hour. But then I've only gone through CDG the twice (hell each time). But trains are more fun for kids than buses so it might be worth the wait if you do miss the first one.

just from personal experience , i have found in CDG the luggage can take a good while to even start coming through, i would consider it too tight and it would stress me to the last all day if even the slightest thing delayed you.

Yup of all the Airports in the world, CDG I really hate. I think we might be better off getting the bus to and TGV from Disney.

If I were you, for 2 adults and 2 children I'd say book a private transfer, we went at end of Jan, and a private transfer was cheaper for the 4 of us than the TGV, only took about 35 mins, and our driver was at arrivals to meet us, and we got dropped at hotel entrance-no walking from station!

TGV only takes 10 mins so its pretty good, I doubt you'd make it over the station in an hour. Luggage doesn't take more than 10 mins usually, but you have to go from T1 to T2 (one end of the CDG val to the other). You would probably make it if you are one your own (I've been there so much now I know where everything is and where I'm going so I get around pretty fast) but with 2 kids its probably not worth the hassel.

I know from experience, I've been living in France for the last 2 years on the Marne la Vallée station is one of my stops to my house.
