    I'm looking for some advice....

Recently saw an advert for an EMT Training program, it's something I have always been interested in, already work in Health & Social Care.
This course is being advertised by Medicall. Have e-mailed them, still waiting for a reply and some information.

Just curious, how recognised the training is. I know different countries have different training etc., but within Ireland.

It's something I would like to do, but don't want to spend a lot of money, that I don't have, doing a course didn't isn't regcognised at the end.

Id imagine their course is above board but check the phecc website. They have a list of recognised training institutions.

Well the phecc website is a good place to start, you'll also find plenty of sound info on this site if you search for it. Good luck.

Are you looking to get work from the qualification? as far as I know there are a LOT of people with EMT quals in Ireland who can't get work in the field. EMT training in general is great fun as well as being interesting. But if you're looking for employment at the end of it, you may want to look into the opportunities after qualification.
