Some decent racing in these three venues tomorrow, been spending much of the day looking back at videos and form.

Keys looks like a penalty kick in the first race at Ascot. 4/5 at the minute with most firms. Finished behind Cinders and Ashes and ahead of Ile de Re last time out. Will probably be looking to double it with Silvianico Conti (depending on how prices work out in the morning with that and Bobs Worth).

Others I'll be looking to back Cappa Bleu, Kauto Stone (although hopefully jumps better than at Down Royal - missed his reappearance and the vid isn't online), Real Milan among others.

Some good indicators for Cheltenham around the place including a graded race at Gowran where Rubi Light is a pretty decent favourite.

What are your picks for the day?

A few so far but will hardly back them all.

I think All the Aces at Wincanton is off a nice mark tomorrow entering handicaps. 13/2 with PP at the minute, doubt I'll get that tomorrow.

I'm debating backing Invictus against BW and SC. He quite literally jumped his rivals into submissing at Plumpton and Hereford. His jumping let him down last time but he was impeccable before, he's a danger stepping up in trip outside the front two.

Hell's Bay is far too over priced at 33/1. Travelled well for a very long way last time out, but hit the 4th last and was lucky to stay standing. Down another few pounds for that and it has a good each way chance I think.

Wayward Prince is another one that I'm interested in back over hurdles

Anyone not think Zaidpour is destined for 3 miles? He's entered in the Red mills tomorrow but I always think hes crying out for further. The mullins team seem very insistant on 2m. Although he's a pacey horse, he never looks like he has the gears to me!?

Also, I dont expect the ground to be good in gowran but think Kalann could be a nice 1 for something in punchestown on gd-fm.

Was thinking that myself. He'll probably win tomorrow, but I wouldn't want to be ploughing in at 100/30 on over two miles. I think Rubi Light is a better bet.

Really liking Penny Max 2.25. Lightly raced and improving with each run over fences the step up to 3 miles has done wonders for him.

Will be laying Zaidpour at Gowran as i think he had plenty hard a race the last day against VLV and may be turned out to quickly after.

Also be back Around the Clock at Gowran as i was told during the week by connections that it should win.

    Ascot 2.35
Viking Blonde ought to improve for the Welsh National where he under performed. This will be much more suitable.

    Haydock 3.20
Have antepost on Le Beau Bai and Giles Cross. Also a win bet on Neptune Collonges who this could suit perfectly. Fredo is interesting there too.

    Lingfield 2.50
Tarooq has 5lbs off after being boxed in last time when he wanted to make his move. He had the horses that finished ahead of him in that race behind him the time before when he was able to go earlier. Wider draw and the claim makes him the most interesting at the weights

Can't split Riverside Theatre and Kauto Stone but if I had to pick, it would be RS. Henderson shows he can get one ready as he did with Burton Port so theres no reason to think he won't have RS almost at his best.

Very tentative fancy for Benny Be Good in the Rendlesham at Haydock. Can't be confident at all and probably won't be having a cut at it unless it gets out to....actually, 13/2 is a little tempting.

    Think I'm going for:

Undone in the bumper at Gowran
Some Target in the National Trial
    Rolling Aces

Little Josh is going to run a big big race today.

restless harry nap of the day
20 length win when in lesser company than he usually contests with the like of big bucks
he was able to dictate pace that day ,which he struggles to do in strongly run grade 1s
feather bed lane has not achieved anything like the form of restless harry
and if he can go his own pace in front i think he will win easy

also the pretender in the first at wincanton is receiving 7 pounds from the fav
and improved last time out when not seeing out the 2 mile 4f
so return to the 2 miles i think will see him win

    1.15 ascot
    denali highway e/w 14/1
should improve on maiden 5th for alan king
    2f less will help

Une Artiste in Haydock will be getting my few shillings today. Short price but need to start accumulating the war chest for 3 weeks time ;)

I have a lucky 15 with the 4 Henderson/Geraghty horse today. All short enough prices but stable looks to be in good form going on yesterday.

Both from the same stable. Is there something you know

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11 Fenna

I have a friend who's dad is part owner of the 2 horses. Persian Gayle needs to win to guarntee cheltenham appearence, so they are hopping for big things,

Carrig Brook is first time out but they have high hope for him, but as you know yourself with first timers, its always hard to know

so an each way double at prices of 6/1 & 25/1 for me

Horse racing is a pain in the bollox:mad:

After yesterday did plenty of form research and managed only one winner all day. Pain in my tits!!

I even managed to miss Giles Cross carrying a featherweight and was roaring at the telly for Neptune Collognes not knowing there was a stone swing!!

Binocular is a lovely price here. Don't see Celestial Halo beating him anyway. Going to put a bit on Binocular.

Was just thinking the same he should have too much speed for Celestial Halo over 2 miles 10/11 looks too good to be true.

Henderson having a ropey day, took Celestial & Starluck against him.

You will probably collect based on my day so far..
