My storage heaters suddenly stopped workinga few days ago. They didnt come on at 11pm as they are timed too and therefore did not heat up during the night. Last night i moved both thermostat controls from 'recommended settings' to 'extra heat' and the storae heating kicked in at 11pm as normal. any ideas why they wont work on recommended settings all of a sudden but will work on extra heat???

maybe because its not very cold out.. temp has risen this week and it does not think you need the heat. Do u have a devi reg in the fuseboard?

An idea: the night time saver (-meter) gave in.

A Devi reg normally has an outside temp sensor attached to them to control the temp of the heaters. I have only seen them on the fuse boards inside apartments but cud also be in the basement to control all apartments... If the nite meter was gone faulty it wud not kick in when the dials were increased...

    Hello,

I am writing for advise on storage heating repairs in Galway city. There are tenants in the house and two of the storage heaters are malfunctioning. One of the heaters does not operate either the fan or storage heating. The second radiator does not operate as a storage heater but the fan does work.

Does anybody know somebody who can repair storage heaters in Galway city?

    Thanking you in advance
