I got a new tv and am able to get Saorview no problem but Freeview is not so good. I am able to get the picture and sound but its very hard to watch as it goes blocky and get a high pitched sound coming though and Channel 5/ITV are just imposable to watch as its all over the place. Also I cannot see E4 or UTV on the listings either. I can get a channel called 301 anyone know what that might be?

I know Freeview is only for the UK but I am able to get the analogue signal no problem and I was wondering is there anything I can do to boot the signal?

The signal come though an antenna on top of the house which was replaced about 6 months ago (old one fell down).

I know my mates in the same estate as myself are able to get the channels no problem.

301 is BBC red button stream on Freeview. Shows sport/children's programmes/music and a few other things as well. As Watty says wait for DSO when signal will be boosted up considerably and you should get full UK freeview then. If your mates are getting it now you should get it then.
