    Hi.
My mother got 3 old paint codes here that she has mixed in the past.
The codes are B18, C72 and D66 (Colortrend). When mixed they give a light green (paint which i no longer have).
Can anyone tell me how i can get similar/identical paint using these old codes.

    Any help would be great.
Even if it's just general info about codes/charts etc
    Thanks.

The best thing to do is google colortend and contact them directly. They are based in Celbridge Co Kildare. The B C D are three different colour dyes added to the paint to give the colour required. The numbers are the amount of dye. I think they still use the same dyes so hopefully you will be sucessful.

Did that but they couldn't help after giving them those codes.

Most paints are catalogued based on the munsell system which identifies each colour with a unique code like 7.5R 8/4. Are there any numbers like this on the cans?

    Thanks.
Don't have the old paint unfortunately, only the codes of the dyes (if that's what they're called) that were mixed to get that old paint.
In other words, the three codes in the OP.
    :)

Hi. I checked my colourtrend fandex and i noticed that throughout it there are codes A4, C16 etc. They occur at the top and middle of each section. It starts with A1 and B1 on the first section, then goes A2 and B2 so on. Unfortunately the codes only go up to 47 so them may be of no use at all but i thought i'd mention it just in case it is.

FYI B18 is written on the swatch for Applejack green 7173M. Can't find the other codes because like i said the number only go up to 47.

    Thanks MisseyB
Yeah i think there's something similar on the Colortrend Site.
I tried matching them there and got the same results as you (matching B18 as a type of green, couldn't match the others etc)

In any case, i think it's sorted. Colortrend themselves have been in touch and i may be able to resolve it another way.
    Thanks.
