DSL Modem Reboots after Downloading Email

    Bit of a strange one.

My DSL modem is a Zyxel P-660 (The eircom one) hasn't ever given me any other trouble and my DSL connection has always been rock solid.

My computer is Windows 7 sp1 and I use Outlook 2010 for my email.

In the last week or so anytime I download my email the modem reboots as soon as outlook is finished retrieving the email, this happens every time.

My email all comes in just fine and just as the last message comes in the X appears on the local area connection icon in the tray and network access is lost for a minute or so.

There is no error in the modem log all I can see is the reboot and the system up time is reset. What ever is going on is causing the modem to reboot for sure.

I can browse and download large files, FTP ect all no problem. just this issue with outlook.

Anyone seen anything like the before or have any ideas where to look?

Seem to have it sorted now, Installed the latest firmware onto the modem.
Still dont know why it would work great for ages and suddenly start giving trouble.

Sending emails uses port 21, not 80 that the internet uses, so it could be related to that. Glad its sorted though, have heard those Zyxels are rubbish
