Tunnel sound speakers

    Can anybody help operating windows 7 and I am having problems
    1. CPU is working at 100% therefore pc working VERY slow

    2. Speakers sound is like in a tunnel and cannot hear anything

    I have Kasperary anti-virus loaded and did a full scan with malware nothing showing up so can anybody help me resolve issues

    1. Have you checked how many programs are set for startup? Have a look at the Startup folder in your Start Menu and run the msconfig utility. Go to the startup tab. Have a look at what startup items are checked and uncheck stuff that aren't drivers, such as Acrobat Reader, IM programs etcetera.

    That being said, if you're not too sure about unchecking something - don't.

    2. If you can reach the Control Panel see if there's a custom Sound applet. Companies such as Conexant and Realtek whip up custom controls that let you choose a kind of simulated environment that your audio is coming from.

    Most of these are completely useless. Have a look through it for "audio environment" or something similar and reset it to normal.
