stumbled upon this chap totally by accident and interested in the fact that he was in Dublin during the Easter Rising.

An American who enlisted in the Canadian Army, transferred to the Army Service Corps(?), was in Dublin at the time of the Easter Rising, transferred to the Royal Flying Corps, survived the war. Awarded a Military Cross and Distinguished Service Order.

Transferred to the Canadian Air Force in 1919 only to die when his plane crashed into Edmonton Sewage Works, London (though one book says Edmonton, British Columbia his death certificate is Edmonton, Middlesex, UK).

When they say present in Dublin during the Rising do they mean fighting?
