    Hi Folks,

    I am looking for someone to run an new feed from my sky dish to a bedroom. basically drill a hole and run the cable. i would do it myself but dont have a long drill.

    Can anyone recommend anyone for the job?

    Sorry, I know it's not an answer to your question but you'd be a lot cheaper getting the long drill you refer to above, if you're happy enough to do it yourself.

    Maybe, maybe not. Does the OP have a suitable drill, with a clutch, to go with the long bit? If not, it's easy enough to get a broken wrist! :)

    Hire a hilti drill ,transformer and long 10mm bit from your local hire shop for an hour.Shouldnt cost more than a tenner.

    Hire a hilti drill ,transformer and long 10mm bit from your local hire shop for an hour.Shouldnt cost more than a tenner.

    Unlikely to get those items "by the hour" from the tool hire centers - and you wont be getting them for a tenner either.

    @OP. Ask someone you know for a lend of an SDS drill. They are not that uncommon in fairness. If you need to, just buy 450mm drill bit in a local suppliers - prob 10-15€. 2min job.

    Everyone else Jeez lads how much time do you all have on your hands! I considered the options and decided it would be better trying to hire somone who makes a living a this and keep the economy ticking over!
