Advice requested 15K - 20k Budget for Estate / Jeep Family Car

Hello there,

I sort of have a budget of 15k to 20k to buy an estate family car or jeep style (second hand) - hoping for 5K on my exisiting car. What would be good in this range? Where should I start looking?

All responses much appreciated taking into account tax, not too big a size etc.

What do you mean by "sort of"?

Would you like to stick with a smaller budget? I seem to say this all the time, but you can get a hell of a lot of car for 5k that would see you through the next 5 years easily.

Thanks for the reply, the sort of means that I could easily send it on other things that need to paid for etc but I can extend my budget to between 15K and 20K but ready probably can only afford 12K to 15K. My trade in is a 2006 Golf Sportline.

Skoda yeti good to drive plenty of room and a bit different you could get a a 2011 ambition (middle spec) in 2.0 or 1.6 diesel for around €20k

Skoda Superb 2.0TDi 170 Combi in Elegance spec? Or would you be able to get one of those in budget? Say a 2009/2010 one?

I dont think you could get a 2.0 tdi for €20k maybe if you imported it but you could get a 1.9 tdi for €23k
