Brilliant thanks you found him good at FR did you do SFMA?

he saved me for FR, like literally got me from 30 to 70, I was good at financial accounting previously but consol threw me, and our lecturer was awful. I would 100% recommend it, especially if you struggle with consol, but one thing is itll be better if you dont already have a method for consol going in cause changing methods would be tough. What I did was focus my study on IAS's until the revision course (well after 3 days trying consol near tears with the institute notes and questions), so had a lot of IAS stuff out of the way study wise by the time I did the course and then heavily focused on consol.

SFMA - I didnt do, I felt strong enough on that not to, got 68 I think but heard its v good

Grand thanks a million i think ill give it a go so. I was exempt from CAP 1 Financial accounting so finding year 2 very difficult I will do as you suggest and focus on the IAS until the start of May when the course takes place.

Anyone done the Audit CAP2 course in CGS?

I'm tempted to use that as my main revision for it. Have too much to cover in the other 3, so have to make a calculated risk and concentrate less on audit.

Has anyone heard any reports of the cgs audit course/been to it previously?

I did the same with audit last year, got it by the skin of my teeth, found the CGS ok, I hate audit to begin with but I prob scraped through thanks to the course.

thanks. Might use it for audit then. Spend a decent amount of time from now on SFMA too.

Financial reporting and Tax have taken up too much time. Still feel like I'm nowhere with tax too. Financial reporting is the only one I've feel I've gotten anywhere with, and it's probably due to doing the cgs course.

I did notes and papers for FR, mainly questions for SFMA, papers mainly, tax book and papers, audit mainly cgs notes and papers.
