Best place to buy Sterling at the moment?

    Where is the best place to buy sterling at the moment?

    Banks/Post office etc?

    I need to buy approx 2000 pounds in order to buy a vehicle in the UK.

    Would appreciate ay advice?

    For buying a car consider getting a sterling draft from one of the main banks, it will be drawn on a bank in the UK and will cost a lot less than the equivalent amount of sterling cash. Your only problem will be convincing the seller that it's genuine.

    If it has to be cash then simply shop around, sterling has been 0.83-84 for the past few weeks so there isn't a huge variation from day to day vs. the Euro.

    consider using currency fair and you can transfer direct to someones account if this is possible
