    Hey all,

Posted a thread here a while back that I was looking for a car, my search continues :(

I have been fixated on the 02/03 Hatchback Corolla 1.4, but I figure I'm going to need to broaden my search a bit! I have a budget of about €3,500, I'd like to stay below the 1.5l engine mark. I use the car mostly for city driving, but do a 400km round trip once or twice a month, motorway driving. Looking for something that is very reliable and economical on fuel, tax, insurance etc, the last car was a Yaris and never let me down, but I want something a bit bigger than a Yaris, with a bigger engine than a 1L.

Ideally I'd like to get a Corolla 2002 or above, but trying to find one that I like, and in the area I'm viewing cars (Dublin and surrounding counties), is more difficult than I thought! I'm looking at the Focus, Almera and Golf as well.

Has anyone got any suggestions as to what I should look out for/car that would suit me best?
