JB Oral Hearing/Self employed

Hi there, just wondering if anyone has any advice the following:
I was made redundant and was unemployed for a number of months, then I got a job on a CE Scheme. During this time went into a partnership and registered as self-employed. The business is one where I work from home and only work about 5-10 hours a week. Although I have been self employed for almost 1 year, I have not earned anything from the business. I can continue the business as it has low running costs. However, now that my CE Scheme has ended I have no income. I have applied for JB and being denied on the basis that I am (apparently) "not available to work". However, my dispute is that as the self-employed business is only taking up approx 5-10 hours a week (and can be done at any time of day as it is web-based), therefore I am available to work. I appealed the decision and now have an oral hearing coming up.

Does any one have any info or opinions on this situation? Has anyone any experience of these oral hearings?

    Appreciate all advice! Thanks!
