    Hi,
What products are companies using these days to allow authors create documents which in turn get output to HTML, PDF, Mobile etc.
Presume there is some sort of GUI that takes the content (text/tables/images) and converts to xml/png, etc.

OpenOffice can do all that, but I'd only consider that as a method for the occasional document on the net - although maybe more if it were an intranet.

No tool will give you the same output as a professionally-designed brochure PDF or website or mobile app - between SEO and image scaling, print formats, navigation requirements, updateability and a host of other considerations, the only way of having a device- or media-targetted professional output is to do it using expertise rather than relying on tools.
