There's some issues going on with the rear axle of my MTB (Santa-Cruz Bullit), I'm sick of messing with it so want to get it sorted for proper.
Basically, when I put the rear wheel in and tighten it up I can cycle for a while but the wheel becomes harder and harder to turn (I think cycling is causing the QR to tighten in) then once I loosen the skewer to the extent the wheel freewheels properly, the wheel can fall off.
I've had it looked at before but I got half way around Ballhoura and had to hike a bike all the way back to the car!
I'm located beside UCD and can travel, don't want to drop it to a bike shop that have never seen a proper MTB before.
    Thanks

Very good friend of mine used to work at the cycle inn and is starting with build a bike next week could probably look at it for you, he's based in tallaght, so not far from UCD, he's looked after my road bike any time anything needed doing and is very neat with his work.

I could pm you his details if you like?

Drop it over to OC Tuning in Kimmage, ph: 4929552

They will sort it out then and there for you..

Thanks for that, are OC tuning a bike shop or what? I'll give them a go and if no-joy I'll get onto your mate Colm, feel free to send me his email or whatever, thanks.

They have a huge bike workshop so would be able to sort any issue, and usually on the spot too..

    Check out: www.octuning.ie

As said already, OC Tuning will be well able to sort you. But if KCR is a bit far you've got the BikeRack in Cabinteally Village or Expert Cycles in Rathfarnham village. Both would be MTB experts and well able to help you out.
