self catering wedding

    my fiance and myself have decided to have a self catering wedding (possibly a pig roast).
    Could anyone reccomend an unusual or nice setting which would allow such an event.

    Castle hire usually allows for self catering at the venue, or stately homes... e.g. Tattersalls house or Castle Oliver...

    Check out www.caterhire.ie you can rent everything from them for weddings and events and at great prices! They are based in Dublin!

    Tattersalls House is very nice, Beaufield mews is nice but you wouldnt want to be claustrophobic.

    i spent a weekend in castletown geogheghan in westmeath ...its got yurts and is owned by a very cool couple with 6 young kids who live in a big house at the back ...its seriously different and its at the edge of a village with a church and and a couple of real country pubs....dont know their web address tehy might have a web site...
    theres one thing for sure there wont be any objections from them!!!!

    i found the website its called boutique camping.....they seem to have houses for rent as well and allow you bring dogs!!!! tell them Peter from valley sent you and to post on my commission without deducting tax!!!! best of luck with your plans where ever you go...its nice to see people thinking outside the box and doing something a bit different

    anyway I got sidetracked coming in here I was really looking to find out what website is best to advertise a self catering house for summer rent...so there you go..if you can answer that for me.....would be great

    I have a 1962 American Airstream catering unit and i have done a couple of weddings and it went down very well with all the guests and they loved it lots of pictures taken with the unit as its very unusal looking i also staid to do the evening meal for them. pm me if you want some more details.

    I've said it before and I'll say it again! only place I've dealt with is withtaste and they're damn good at what they do. My sister is getting married next year and she's going to use them aswell.

    Knockree youth hostel do this sort of thing. Worth checking it out.
