    I cant be of help as I havent taken the course, Im still an undergrad - but have you considered emailing the relevant lecturers involved? A lot of their contact details are available on the English Dept website and Im sure they would be happy to help you with your enquiries.

    yes, thats part of the plan. i just want to get a 'ground level' view of things. students and lecturers will always give different opinions on a course.
