Facebook birthday greeting cards. How to stop it?? Plz help

I never set my facebook account up to send everyone of my contacts a happy birthday greeting card, this is exactly what's happening. Can anyone please let me know how to stop this?? I have tried but to no avail...:(

This is not a native Facebook feature. Facebook will only show you friends whose birthday it is and you can send them a greeting.

It would seem that you have authorised an application to do this.

You should go to Privacy Settings >Apps and websites > Edit settings and have a look at the list. See if there is something that looks like a birthday card application.

You can click on any app to see what information it is accessing and then click on remove app if you don't want it.

Always wise to do a bit of spring cleaning!

If you see the Birthday card app, can you name it here?
