    Hi all,

Just looking for advice for uploading video to YouTube.

When I upload the video to Youtube the audio sync is slightly off. It seems like the audio is slightly delayed compared to the video. Has anyone else encountered this?

I have tried to shift the audio track a little ahead of the video at edit stage but the programme i use (WMM) such a feature isn't available.

    thanks for any advice!

    Can we see the video?

Is the local file playing like this on your computer?

The audio is a bit of when we are talking. It has happened with subsequesnt videos. I know its 'only' slightly off buit I'd like it to be spot on as Im a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to this type of thing!

I had a quick scrub through the video and it seems fine to me. Perhaps it's your computer?

Well when I initially uploaded it to YT the audio synch was out even more, I removed and tried again and it was closer to being in snych the second time. I have had to do that (removed and reupload) for a few videos. Thet thing is I had uploaded many videos in the past without any issue at all. Just stated happening recently (I now upload from laptop instead of pc). anyway thanks for the help!

Sound seems fine on my end too, is it happening to any other youtube videos?

You might want to look at reinstalling video codecs on your machine.

Yea it happened to another video, it was about a second dealyed audio-wise, when I reuploaded it was a lot closer but still not exact.

how do you re-install video codecs? sounds a bit advanced for me.

Im being picky maybe, but have a video project coming up that requires a lot of editing of different videos clips and just want it to be right.

As far as I remember the K-lite codec pack covers almost every format just install it as you would any program and see if that helps. I don't think you need to uninstall old ones.
